Trauma therapy for children and adults using Play, EMDR, and video games to support healing, emotional regulation, and connection

I also offer AdaptPlay℠, a specialized approach that integrates accessible gaming and play into trauma therapy for people with physical disabilities and others who have experienced barriers to play

Ron Peretz, LCSW. Trauma & Play Therapist

Who is this for?

This approach is designed for children, teens, and adults who are navigating trauma, anxiety, or overwhelming emotions—especially when traditional talk therapy hasn’t felt like the right fit.

Many of the clients I work with find it difficult to express themselves through words alone, and instead connect more naturally through play, shared activities, or interactive experiences. This includes individuals who struggle with emotional regulation, frustration, shutdown, or avoidance.

I also work with individuals who are neurodivergent or living with physical disabilities, offering a more flexible and accessible approach to therapy—one that adapts to the person, rather than expecting the person to adapt to the therapy.

Therapy can meet you where you are—and grow from there.
